Prince Albert Police have arrested 35-year-old Lawrence Sewap, who was missing from theSaskatchewan Penitentiary since Sunday.
Lawrence Sewapwas in the midst of serving a three-year, nine-month sentence for aggravated assault, possessing a weapon for a dangerous purpose and obstructing a police officer, when he went missing. He was in the minimum security section of the prison.
Sewap wasn't accounted for during the afternoon count at the prison yesterday, Corrections said.
He will be appearing in court tomorrow morning.
